Please contribute your skills to this worthwhile charitable project! HPS provides musical instruments and instruction to kids and youth in the Sooke area. This includes a Strings program (violin, viola, and cello) for students in grades two and up, and a Drumline program (marching band-style drumming) for students in grades six and up. Students perform at community events throughout the year. Work as a team with a friendly board and dedicated teachers to provide this life-enriching musical experience to our youth. (No musical skills are required of the Treasurer!)
Harmony Project Sooke (HPS) is a non-profit society that promotes the positive development of youth and community through music, HPS provides musical instruments and instructions to children and youth in the Sooke area. The students participate in after-school music classes (String and Drumline) and also perform at a variety of community events throughout the year. We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic about education and music (but no musical skill is required) to act as a Fundraising Coordinator.

Sooke Fall Fair has volunteers who assist with a variety of programs. They serve breakfast and lunch at Seedy Saturday in February, July's car show, a market the last Saturday in August and September, and their main event the Sooke Fall Fair the first Saturday after Labor day, as well as the Christmas craft fair in November.
