Sooke Emergency Support Services are community volunteers available to assist their neighbours in their time of need. Whether it is one home affected by a fire or flood or an entire neigbourhood threatened by a forest fire, ESS volunteers are trained and able to provide aid, comfort and basic needs to residents of the community through those first critical hours of a disaster.
As part of Sooke's Emergency Program, this volunteer group is a division of Sooke Fire Rescue Service.
