Here's a sneak peak at some of our workshop streams:
Hands-On: Get your hands dirty practicing some hard skills related to your work as a food champion and visiting local initiatives that are supporting a healthier food system in the capital region.
Building Tools: We can all use more tools in our toolbox for our day to day work as food system champions; take a deep dive into a variety of topics designed to help you and your organization or initiative achieve maximum potential.
Alarm Bells & Actions: Our food systems is highly complex and there are always new issues emerging that challenge our work. Take some time to expand and deepen your understanding of food systems issues, unpack and problem solve some wicked problems facing our food system today.
Systems Change: Across the Island region, we are using a variety of avenues to make positive change at a systems level; these sessions will be an opportunity to share challenges and success with colleagues from north to south, working to move the needle on big picture food systems issues.
