Sooke Primary Health Care Services Public Forum Saturday, November 1st, 2014

10:00 - 12:00 at the Prestige Hotel, 6929 West Coast Road.  Do you want more information on Primary Health Care Services in the Sooke region?  The Primary Health Care working Group will be reporting back on their achievements since the 2013 'A GP for Me" forum, and to discuss current and planned initiatives.
Community members are invited to participate in roundtable discussions on local health care priorities and will learn about opportunities for participation in organizations that are working to build a healthy community.  For more information please contact Sooke Region Community Health Initiative (CHI) at sookeregionchi@yahoo.ca

Barney Bentall Grand Cariboo Oprey in Sooke November 20th, 2014 7:00 p.m. at EMCS Theatre. 

Brought to you by Sooke Harbour Players, Mel Dobre, Sooke Region Volunteer Centre and other volunteers.  This event is a fundraiser for the Sooke Food Bank.  Last year we raised $11,500.00 through song sponsorship, and the event was almost sold out!  This year we are going bigger and better......better get your tickets... in Sooke at Shoppers Drugmart, EMCS and the Stick Coffee Shop, and on-line through Eventbright. The Sooke Fall Fair is having their annual Christmas Market on November 29th

from 10:00 - 4:00 in the dining room of the Sooke Community Hall, Eustace Road entrace. We also invite folks to come and build Christmas swags help to decorate Sooke. Or, for a donation of $5 build your own!  We supply the greenery and the decorations.  Pre booking $20 per table by calling Carol Chalmers at 250-881-1169.  Early set up Nov 28, 6-8 pm or Sat 8:30 am.  Concession and donation to the Sooke Christmas Bureau at entrance.
