Bridges for Women Society provides support, education and employment training for women who have been impacted by trauma, violence, abuse and/or neglect, to reclaim their lives and build economic security. We also offer trauma-informed employment programs, an online program, personal and career assessments, counselling, one on one support, career exploration, job development, mentoring, upgrading with Camosun College, and support with accessing the single parent employment initiative. We are located at 6625 Sooke Road (in the Worklink office).

Sooke and Electoral Area Parks and Recreation Commission (SEAPARC) creates recreational opportunities for the public through development, provision and operation of recreation facilities, programs and activities. SEAPARC is a partnership of the District of Sooke and western communities in the Juan de Fuca Electoral Area (Port Renfrew, Otter Point, Shirley, Jordan River and East Sooke). The commission serves the residents of these areas.

Residential Camp Thunderbird is a natural playground with 1200 acres of forest, dramatic vistas and the clear, clean waters of Glinz Lake. Thunderbird programs are active, dynamic, challenging and creative.
