Christmas with Carolyn Mark and Company

We are excited to host an evening of live music at the Sooke Legion for Vancouver Islands own resident and singer/songwriter Carolyn Mark!
She is always on the move, performing across the province and country, while still hosting the popular and legendary
“Hootenanny” on Sunday Afternoons at Logans Pub in Victoria.
Its going to be a real treat for the locals to catch her always energetic and charismatic performance. Carolyn’s thoughtful, truthful story telling lyrics, banter and musical styling are sure to impress and move the crowd, and all backed up by her Solid voice, harmonies and top notch supporting band mates.
The local “Basin Boys” who have been gathering momentum in the West Shore and Sooke Area since coming on the scene last year, are excited to play the Sooke Legion’s Stage for the 2nd time in a year. Since their founding in 2016, they’ve played at numerous fundraisers, private events,festivals and pubs in the area, and are in the midst of putting out their first Album in 2019.
Danny Olliver, a new Sooke resident from Regina is an already established singer/songwriter who is sure to turn your head, and draw you in with his well crafted lyrics, and haunting guitar melodies to back up the experience. Danny is set to open the festivities at 7pm.
All three acts play roots driven original folk, alt country, and outlaw country originals, with the Basin Boys adding some great rock, country, and blues covers as well as their upbeat originals to keep you on the dance floor. There may even be a few Christmas themed originals in the mix from the performers.
They will be be taking non perishable food and cash donations at the door in exchange for raffle tickets.
Many local Sooke business have graciously donated items for our raffle and Door prizes in support of the Sooke Food Bank.
There will also be a 50/50 draw in support of the Sooke Legion.
Kitchen and Bar will be open.
