If it happens once a year....look for it here.

National Volunteer Week is a time to celebrate and thank volunteers.  We will post more here shortly.

The Sooke Harbourside Lions Club are hosting a wine tasting event called the "Taste of BC" on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at Edward Milne Community School, 6218 Sooke Road from 7pm to 9:30pm.  Tickets are on sale at Sooke Shoppers Drug Mart, Pemberton Holmes, Little Vienna Bakery, Peoples Drug Store and at E.M.C.S. for $35.  Come sample tasty local treats of food, wine, beer, spirits, ciders and non-alcohol beverages.  All proceeds go to the club's charities.

Sooke Music Festival – Aug 27th , 2pm - 8pm

We will be putting on a free, family friendly, fun, fundraising music festival in conjunction with Speedsource Fitness in the John Phillips Memorial Park.

This walk-in event will be a fundraiser for Hannah Day's family and the Sooke Food Bank.

Our goal is to make this an annual event to raise funds for those in need in our community, and have fun doing it!

We are gladly accepting Sponsor and Vendor submissions to get this event off the ground!

This year the Sooke Fall Fair has its “Finger on the Pulses”, but we are full of beans.
Pulses are dried peas, beans, lentils, chickpeas and lupins.

Check out the great line-up of entertainment and activities we will have at Art in the Park, at McGregor Park, Saturday, August 18th, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Lots of fun for all ages!

We still have capacity for art and food vendors. The deadline to register is July 30.

Hope to see you all there!

Join us for Duck Day at the Flats on Saturday, May 7, 2016. It's a family day filled with fun and laughter. Ducks racing down the river, kids bouncing in the bouncy castle, face painting, games, and prizes. There is an added bonus - it is our 10th Annual Rubber Duck Day Race! And most amazing of all - it's the day before Mother's Day. Bring the family out and have a duck-load of fun:-)

Gear up for Gardening at Sooke’s seventh annual Sooke Seedy Saturday February 27, 2016 10am- 3pm at the Sooke Community Hall 2037 Shields Road, opposite the Legion on Eustace Road Sooke Region.

FoodCHI invites you to Sooke’s premier seed and local food growing event; Sooke Seedy Saturday. This family-friendly day will feature a seed exchange and trading table, a diverse range of seed and plant vendors, local wild harvesters and food artisans, information from local non-profits working to enhance food security and workshops.

We welcome you to our Christmas Social on Tuesday, December 15th from 12:00 - 4:30

Learn about team building and fun with WiiU (games) Machines.  Even if you have never played with one before we guarantee you will have some fun.

Come talk with our volunteer staff about what is happening in our office and in our community.

Hosted by the Sooke Region Chamber of Commerce and sponsored in part by EPCOR Water Services, we would like to invite participation in our Sooke Santa Parade with a float, decorated vehicle, walking group and/or volunteers.
With typically over 1,000 people in attendance during our annual event, this is your opportunity to showcase and promote your business or organization with great exposure!

The holiday season is just around the corner, and one way to start or continue a family tradition is to attend the Sooke Philharmonic’s Festive Harmony concert in Sooke on Saturday Dec. 5th at 7:30 p.m. at the Sooke Baptist Church, or in the Quarterdeck Ballroom at Royal Roads University in the Westshore on Sunday Dec. 6th at 2:30 p.m., as part of Royal Roads’ 75th anniversary celebration.
