Nearly five decades after its birth at a Kemp Lake Road farmstead, the Caravan Stage Company is returning to Sooke’s Government Wharf in mid-July aboard a tall ship to present its spectacular “climatopian” rock opera Nomadic Tempest.

BC Parks Foundation is launching our Healthy by Nature initiative next Saturday, July 21st with 100 'Outside and Unplugged' walks in 100 parks lead by 100 health care professionals. These walks are an informal, one-hour, family-friendly walk designed to connect the community to their local BC Parks.

Explore the writing of memoir/autobiography with real life examples from seniors. Writing will be considered from a psychological perspecitve and ccover topics such as motivation, truth, lias, risk, threat, dilemmas, opposition, speculation, policital correctness.

Each session will feature a movie from one of the worlds's many film-producing countries, followd by a discussion of the movie's features. Participants will take turn choosing the films they wish to discuss.
