The Sooke Bike Club is dedicated to building a friendly and organized local mountain bike community in Sooke. We do this by supporting and encouraging riders of all ages and abilities through fun events, mentorship and volunteer opportunities. The Sooke Bike Club assists land managers and owners in their efforts to include bike trail systems on their lands, and promotes Sooke's trails and opportunities to the global mountain biking community.
The Sooke Garden Club was established in 1971 as a means for residents of the Sooke Region to come together to share experiences, learn from experts, and enjoy the camaraderie and benefits to be derived from a common interest in gardening and horticulture. In turn, the Club contributes to the community through monetary donations, gardening-related volunteer work/support, and committee participation.

ALM Organic Farm is located in Sooke on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. We are a group of people who want to live on the land lightly. The farm was first started by Jan and Mary Alice Johnson about 20 years ago. Since then many others have added their skills and labour to make the farm a more beautiful productive place. We aspire to learning and practicing the skills needed to live sustainably in our community. Part of this is educating ourselves and others.
