Canadian Blood Services is a not-for-profit charitable organization that manages the blood supply in all provinces and territories outside of Quebec. Annually, Canadian Blood Services collects over 900,000 whole blood donations and delivers products to more than 700 hospital customers with every donation going on to save lives. We currently have one permanent site located in Victoria and various mobile clinics located throughout the Greater Victoria Area including one every 56 days in Sooke.
Katherine Paxton Counselling Services offers counselling and some behavior support services for children and adults on the autism spectrum, and families who have a member on the autism spectrum. Outreach in-home services to the Sooke area are offered at no extra cost. The initial hour consultation is free. Services are approved for provincial autism funding.
For over twenty years we have provided comprehensive eye health and optical services to the growing community of Sooke. We have a team of doctors and certified staff that work together to provide you with a great experience in a caring environment.
We believe that preventative eye care is an important part of total health care. This should start with an infant’s first eye examination at the age of six months.
Pacific Centre Family Services Association has been delivering high quality child, youth, adult and family based services since 1968. From our current community based locations in Langford, Colwood and Sooke on South Vancouver Island, we provide a range of services across the Capital Region District. These include work with men and women addressing family violence, youth outreach and email counselling, family and couples counselling and counselling to address alcohol and other drug issues.

Our club places most of its emphasis on youth in Sooke's localcommunity, though we are also active citizens in the world community.
The Seniors Activity Society owns and operates a bus for the purpose of supporting its members with transportation challenges. The activity bus will pick up people at their homes and take them to various locations so they can socialize and get out of the house. Maintaining social contacts has been identified as a key component to healthy aging.

The Shirley Community Association was established in 1934 and the Shirley Hall was constructed in 1937 on donated land on the corner of what is now West Coast Rd and Sheringham Point Rd. The Association carries on multiple functions.
