Cabaret Sooke  - A Halloween Costume/Dance /Show

with a live band, DJ Phillip du Preez and iLith.

DESCRIPTION: Mild to Wild. A wicked mix of circus, pole, dance, and vocal arts. Everything from dark circus to puppets.

Best Costume (s) wins $100.00

DOORS OPEN at 8:00PM and LAST CALL is 1:00PM

Tickets are $20.00 and are available at The Stick in the Mud, Shoppers Drug Mart, The Kemp Lake Store, and Shirley Delicious Cafe! 

This event is a co-production with Sooke Harbour Players and Cabaret Boite Noire Productions.

The Sooke Community Arts Council brings you the annual Beach Art Festival at Whiffen Spit.

Registration begins at 12 noon on September 5th with the competition from 1 pm – 3 pm. Participants bring nothing but ideas for the art sculpture – work with found items on the beach. Judging to begin at 3 pm.

Refreshments available for purchase by the Harbourside Lions Club.

The biggest organic plant sale west of Victoria! The sale will feature a wide variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers both annual and perennial perfect for gardens big or small as well as a full offering of the Full Circle Seeds collection. All seeds and plants are certified organic and grown on site. Farm staff will be available to answer your questions.

Come see who's doing what. Rub elbows with the movers and shakers, and a few of the quietly doing, people in your community. Whether you are looking to volunteer, wanting to know what programs and services are available, or just plain curious, this is the event for you.

Come find out what some of the over 180 non-profit clubs, groups, societies and charities are doing in the area we call the Sooke Region, from East Sooke to Port Renfrew.  There will be refreshments, games and a silent auction.

Transition Sooke's Annual General Meeting is set for Saturday, Feb. 21st at the Little Vienna Bakery. We'll begin the evening's business at 6:45 p.m. and, based on past experience, the AGM should be complete by 7:15 p.m. To further entice you out for the evening, Stephen Hindrichs will present the fourth in his series of video evenings at the bakery starting at 7:30 p.m. He'll screen a hand-picked selection of short, inspiring, resolutely upbeat (no gloom/doom, thank you) clips on subjects of interest to the Transition-minded.

T ’Sou-Ke Arts Group (TAG) Presents the 6TH Annual Christmas Art’s & Crafts Show, Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 10 am to 6 pm, 6221 SOOKE Road.  To book your table contact llbristo@gmail.com  (note it IS llbristo NOT llbristol).  Cost  $25 per table space.
